CoolSculpting treatments will jumpstart the results you’ve been waiting for. You’ll likely start to see changes as soon as 3 weeks after your first treatment. The most dramatic results can be seen after 2-3 months, but your body will still continue to discard fat cells for up to 4 to 6 months after treatment. Fat cells are permanently eliminated from the treated area. 

How does CoolSculpting® Elite work?

CoolSculpting® Elite uses a fat-freezing process called cryolipolysis. Years of research and development went into this patented treatment device. Each treatment area is safely cooled in a controlled way as the subcutaneous fat cells between the muscle and skin begin to freeze.

Apoptosis (which means cell death) is triggered during this process which will allow your body to naturally eliminate the dead cells. This results in the 20-25% reduction of fat in the treated areas.

The newest CoolSculpting® Elite device has two applicators per machine so that two areas can be treated at once, which reduces the total amount of time during your treatment appointments. The new device also has c-shaped applicators in several different shapes and sizes that allow more comfort and harder-to-reach areas to be targeted more accurately. 

What can I expect during the consultation and treatment process?

During your complimentary consultation, our team will assess your areas of concern and goals to determine a personalized treatment plan. We will go over any questions you may have about the process, so that you are comfortable moving forward. 

To ensure your goals and desired results are met, a few treatment sessions may be recommended over an extended period of time. The number of treatment sessions will vary depending on the area being treated. 

During a treatment session you can expect:

• The provider will apply a gel pad and an applicator to administer the controlled cooling to the treatment areas
• Most patients only report feeling a tingling and cold sensation during treatment
• Most treatment sessions last anywhere from 35-60 minutes depending on the area
• There’s no anesthesia, numbing, or pain associated with this treatment; you’re able to leave and immediately return to your daily activities

Photographs and measurements will be taken before and after each treatment session to track progress. Keep in mind that a healthy lifestyle will need to be maintained during the treatment process to maximize and keep your results long-term.
